The Preservation Process
1. Reserve your Date
Your preservation journey starts with reserving your date with a deposit. I recommend booking as soon as you know you'd like to preserve your bouquet. If a date fills up, it will be listed on the order page.
When I receive your deposit, I will send you our client information form, which will guide you through the process of choosing your frame color, style, background, and design layout.
You can reserve your date here.
2. Your flowers arrive
After your wedding or event, your bouquet makes its way to me. While we don't have a storefront, local clients can drop off by appointment in Philadelphia or Chalfont, Bucks County, PA, and I also welcome bouquets shipped from around the country and provide detailed instructions for doing so.
Keep your bouquet in fresh water in a cool location until drop-off or shipping. The sooner I receive the flowers, the better.
3. The art of preservation
Each flower and leafy stem is carefully and skillfully pressed and dried. This process typically takes up to eight weeks. Timing can vary based on the type of flowers and seasonal volume.
I press all colors and varieties of flowers, and work hard to preserve color as much as possible. It is important to note that some varieties preserve differently than others. Flower shape, size, and moisture content all influence the final result.
4. A design all your own
Once your flowers are ready, I begin arranging each bloom into a thoughtful composition. Every bouquet is different, and every design is created individually to celebrate the natural beauty and character of your flowers.
Once your design is complete, I'll send you a photograph for approval before final framing.
5. Your flowers, forever treasured
After approval, your piece is carefully finished and prepared for pickup or shipping.
Pickup is available by appointment in Philadelphia or Chalfont, Bucks County, PA. Shipping is available nationwide.
